Veterinary Assistant
Abby is a high schooler at Dougherty Valley. She started out during her sophomore year and has loved it ever since. Originally beginning as a volunteer, she wanted to gain experience and explore the occupations within veterinary medicine.
Working at the BCAH has given her a fulfilling opportunity to interact and care for animals in a direct and impactful way. The experience has not only expanded her interest in a possible future career choice but has also broadened her interest in animals and medical care. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, playing the guitar, and hiking.
